    So...I Competed In MK For The First Time!

    Context: It's a small (like 10 people iirc) chill online tourney which happened for the second time now, within a group of people from around the country (Brazil). Single elimination, FT3 format.

    And boy, I was fucking MAULED 😂, 3-0 against an absolutely insane Nightwolf player. I definitely didn't play my best and made a whole mess of dumb mistakes, but you know what - I had fun! It was very exciting, especially because I had less than zero expectations, so all I was left with was to just enjoy the ride though a live streamed world of pain and try to learn from it. I mean, that's what MK is all about, lol.

    Later on I had excellent feedback and advice from everyone. I failed miserably where many people refuse to even try, and I reckon that's the first step to getting good!

    I'm looking forward for the next time! 10/10 would get flawlesseed again!

    Just Learned About Odd Design Element in UMK3

    For the longest time in Ultimate MK3, I was wondering why I never saw that many levels. It was always Hell, Jade's Desert, River Kombat (even that was uncommon), Lost Bridge and Kahn's Kave.

    Now I learned that the single player mode doesn't bring the player to any of the MK3 levels, only the UMK3-exclusive levels. This means that during single player, you can't see (or rarely will see):

    The Subway

    The Street

    The Bank (was flat-out removed for this game yet brought back for Trilogy)

    The Balcony (you're forced to fight Motaro here, but that's it)

    The Rooftop

    The Bridge

    The Soul Chamber

    The Bell Tower

    The Temple

    The Graveyard

    The Pit III (you're forced to fight Kahn here, but that's it)

    It's pretty odd how the game locks away at least 10 levels from the player unless they choose multiplayer.

    Can we get actually new towers for “Premiere Towers” that last over 24 hrs ? Throw dog bone add some gear that hasn’t been obtainable . Even if it’s just one piece of gear like the last one . /rant over

    how to augment terminator for easy wins

    if you like to use terminator in koop towers or single player or you struggle to complete tag koop battles, then i highly recommend using some augments for easy wins! XD i dont really know any of terminator's kombos, but i was able to win with blocking + D2 + augments. if you would like to see my terminator in action, i made a livestream showcasing his strength: https://youtu.be/PdF6VSIv6GI

    the most important augments are: - perfected impact diffusers (grenade flame augments that heal you +90 per augment for every kounter or punish) - perfected static retribution (shotgun blood augments that cause the opponent to take 30 damage per augment aka spike damage of -60 for every hit, except grabs)

    the sunglasses can slot anything. however, i went with perfected revving up, a blood augment for sunglasses, which increases damage by 0.9% for every 4 seconds the battle goes on. when i did get down to fatal blow range, my FB damage was nearly doubled.

    basically the strategy is to block every attack, escape throws and command grabs (since only the first hit causes spike damage) and punish whiffs to significantly heal yourself. i only know down+2, but if you know other attacks with the terminator he will be more deadly in your hands.

    against the jade tag tower yesterday, jade killed herself by using deadly butterfly and going for combos. kano's tower today requires you to escape the command grabs.
