    Just rewatched MK Legends again, and oh my god, the treatment Reptile gets in that movie is abysmal. He's really cool in the first 15 secs of meeting Sonya, then they actually fight and he doesn't get ONE hit in before dying like a little bish. He's supposed to be a master of stealth and yet he doesn't know mud reveals his location.

    He can dodge a bullet point blank in the animated film but gets bodied by Sonya Blade.

    Not just in MK Legends too, he gets beat every NRS story and there is barely any thing interesting about him in the new Timeline besides his backstory.

    He was cool in the MKX comics, but Dominic confirmed that the comics aren't canon so...

    Reptile is my favorite MK character and favorite video game character of all time. He was so goddamn interesting in the OG timeline, he is one of the only villains to actually love his masters, he's extremely loyal, he had a really cool devolution thing going on with him, he helped take back Nitara's realm, he was Shang Tsung's bodyguard for two games (He was good at it too), he was a Master of Stealth, he was the vessel for Onaga.

    While his NRS counterpart keeps some of these traits, it's not shown to the extent of Midway Reptile.

    Midway Reptile had a mental breakdown when Shao died and literally, and I quote, cried some

    "real crocodile tears" - Deadly Alliance Konquest.

    It was depressing but honestly... Kinda endearing... Until you realize he served and cried for the same dude that destroyed his whole race and realm.

    Deadly Alliance Reptile is my favorite version of him... Solely for the fact that's the game he gets fleshed out the most, and his design is one of my favorite MK designs of all time.

    Reptile is now reduced to a punching bag and getting smashed in the Krypt. (Not that kind of smashed.)

    I just want the best for my scaly, cute, evil, psychotic, insane, depressed, and bloodthirsty lizard..
