    Could it work for players to make custom tournament variations out of abilities that are already in the 3 official tournament variations? (Serious replies only, please)

    I mean, obviously most people don't to see Terminate in KL right now, but I have a hard time seeing how it would be overly unbalanced (i.e. any more than it already is) to let people choose between the abilities that are already approved for use. Thoughts?

    *SPOILER ALERT* if you haven't watch the new animated movie. Why are people upset over Liu Kang?

    It seems like majority of people are upset over the fact that Liu Kang lost to Goro in this movie. My question is, why? I can understand that it's not something you are used to. But on the other hand, it's finally something new and unique, if you compare it to previous stories. It was also unpredictable. I knew Scorpion would be the main character, based on the movie title. But I still expected Liu Kang to go and beat everyone he faces, like he always does ( which is a bit boring imo :/ ). So when I first saw the movie, I was surprised. It had that plotwist of Liu losing, but it was also intense because it made you fear that Liu could lose his arms or potentially die and wishing for Scorpion to come in, after it was made clear he survived his clash with Sub Zero. And when he finally did, I was like "WHAAAAAT". It was quite epic!

    I completely respect if you don't like it that way. However, I think it was a good change. Apart from being intense and epic, it also made the story unique to previous stories.
