    I'm new to the sub but what I'm about to write might make me the most hated person here but in my opinion new Sindel is better than the OG version. If you already hate this then feel free to downvote or leave if you don't want to read it.

    I've seen this for months now fans being pissed off cause of the change to Sindel's backstory but here I'd why I think it's an improvement. In the original timeline sindel committed suicide in order to complete a ritual that would keep shao kahn out of earth realm,why she did not do this to keep him out of edenia is a mystery. By MK3 she was resurrected under the Kahn's control.After she is broken free by kitana she is pretty much downgraded to the background till deception where she tried to prevent Onaga discovering some secret. Armageddon then happens then the reboot happens. Sindel is mostly the same as in Mk3 In MORTAL KOMBAT and X but by 11 she is Shown to be ruthless,manipulative and cruel a far cry from the original timeline.However this is an improvement because of the following reasons. It gives a reason why she didn't cast ward over Edenia to protect it despite being willing to sacrifice herself .It also explains how a woman like her who has no trouble standing up against beings like onaga ,the deadly alliance and shinnok would marry Shao kahn against her will without any form of protest. You may it was protect her daughter but she was willing to leave said child with the mad KONQUEROR who murdered her father .The retcon depicts her as an individual who is willing to do whatever it takes. She murdered Jerrod because he was to weak to protect their realm.It would seem her actions worked because according to kollector edenians had the best status in outworld than its natives. She then married Shao Khan under the pretences that it was against her will this meant the Edenians would stay loyal to the Kahn for the sake of their queen . Her rebellious nature made sure it would be difficult to manipulate her hence Quan chi killed her thus removing an obstacle the ward would function as a way for shao kahn to rely on his assistance in future. Resurrecting Sindel brainwashed ensured she would not reveal the truth. All in all the original backstory's potholes made for a good setup for the reveal however neatherealm didn't tackle this very well hence alot of people were pissed. Feel free to leave a comment

    Brutalities being locked (especially for dlc characters) is a horrible system

    I could maybe see keeping a few unlockable but starting off with two when characters have around 8-10 is trash. The worst change from X to 11 imo
