    Unfortunately shady people exist out there and they will scam you quick. We have had Kommunity members lose money here before because they trusted a random person online. Just don't do it.

    State of r/MortalKombat Update

    Hey all!

    We know it's been a minute since we asked for your input regarding the state of the subreddit and what changes you would like to see. Thank you for your patience in waiting for our response as we prepare for some big changes coming your way.

    Here is a quick status update where we are in the process; The mods have been discussing the input you all provided and we will soon be providing feedback along with a subreddit redesign that includes intuitive integration of Mortal Kombat Online's Fight Klub, a whole new way to play against your peers competitively. The topics of note that will be addressed along with the subreddit updates will include:

    • Low effort screenshots, video posts & otherwise 'low effort content'

    • Self Promotion posting guidelines

    • Fan Art Posting guidelines

    • Redundant/repetitive posts such as kombat pack request posts, tier posts and gear posts

    • A MEME POSTING COMPROMISE

    As mods, it's our goal to help keep the flow of content to be what you want to see, not to over moderate or sit back and choose what gets seen. With a community that is getting closer every day to 200k users and with hundreds of thousands of site visits a day, it's become difficult to keep up. With that said, we will also be putting out an application for a couple new mods along with the rollout of our update that is coming soon.

    We are very excited to introduce these features coming to you soon. Thank you all for helping make r/MortalKombat one of the most popular places on the web to discuss MK!

    Rad Idea to shake up the game: All custom special moves not used in tournament variations should be included as part of the character's base move set

    Full credit goes to Rooflemonger on Youtube for this idea (I'm sorry but I forgot which video he mentioned it in)

    But this is something that I've been thinking of a lot more recently. Let's discuss the changes in the meta that would occur if NRS was crazy enough to implement this idea.

    How cool would it be if D'vorah got to be bugvorah at the end of every game? Or if Cassie got her gimmicky remote control drone attacks for every loadout? Personally I'd be really excited at Terminator having a teleport.

    Don't get me wrong, there would A LOT of balancing/adjustments that would need to be made for this to work. But let's discuss/ponder this idea.

    What character would benefit the most from this? What characters would be changed drastically? Who would be the most broken? Think about who you currently main, how would they change?

    Im expecting them to release the third augments, some new gear for current dlc, possibly more loadouts and maybe movie skins with the release of the new animated movie.
