    Hello everyone!

    I'll start off by apologizing to everyone that this little scrap has been canceled. I apologize to the players who stepped up and wanted to play and then were told they couldn't take part. Thank you for showing up.

    I will take full responsibility that during my talks with the 4chan representative the last few weeks, they did briefly request 'no pros' and I completely spaced it while recruiting for Team Reddit. That's on me, so we replaced Grr and Cossner at Team 4chan's request with a mutual understanding.

    After those players replacements, Team 4chan later came back again and complained more of Team Reddit's players were 'tournament level players' and took offense that I myself was not taking part in the tournament. So, again, we obliged team 4chan and replaced the players in question and included myself into the battle. The only reason I wasn't taking part initially was because I didn't want to take up a space someone else in the community could fill. Simple as that. Hell yeah I'm sure I'd get bodied, lol, but that was no determining factor in why I wasn't playing initially.

    After accepting 4chans multiple requests initially yesterday, this morning Team 4chan once again asked we replace another player because upon their investigations they found that the said player had played in tournaments with other known players (I'm summarizing). So at this point, the battle has been called off.

    'No pros' was indeed requested by Team 4chan (once) over the last few weeks is conversations, and I overlooked it and admitted to that and apologized. However, nowhere in our conversations did Team 4chan request or elude to just how casual they wanted the competitors to be until after yesterday's team reveals.

    This subreddit is and has been a hub for some of Mortal Kombat's best players. We won't apologize for that. When you challenged the bull, you should of been ready for the horns. There are no hard feelings here and I wish all the best to 4chans MK players.

    So, here is r/MortalKombat's open challenge back to Team 4chan:

    We will host a Reddit Fight Night tomorrow starting at 4PM EST. I don't know who will be present, but we invite Team 4chan to show up and fight. You can call out individuals or you can see who runs a hill for the longest time. Either way, you can still choose who you want to fight.

    He's still always safe, can out-zone pretty much anyone, his reach is almost jade-level, his KB's are really easy, his FB is one of the best in the game.

    He's easy to play with a low skill level and he just gets better and better the more skilled you are. Good neutral, good long range, good rush down.

    He's got all the "annoying" qualities of Sonya, Jax, and Jade that people always complain about. Top tier zoning, safety and good pressure, and a combination of zoning+reach that makes it harder than hell to get in on him.
