    If NRS doesn't follow one of the Aftermath endings in MK12, it'll be an incredibly wasted opportunity

    After replaying Aftermath last night, I was reminded how unique both endings were as well as the potential in both of them. It's pretty clear MK is headed for a hard reboot soon, but I really hope they'll save that for MK13 cause, regardless of if they follow Liu or Shang's endings (though itll probably be Liu's), 12 could potentially be the most unique MK game since Deadly Alliance. An MK game set during Great Lao's era would give us a super dope roster, setting, probably a ton of new characters while also giving previously established ones a roster slot, like King Jerrod, plus having Liu taken Raiden's mentor role is too cool to pass up. Conversely, a game primarily focused around Chaosrealm and Orderrealm having to work together would flesh out the 3d era stuff way more and we'd get some brand new main characters. Imagine if Havik, Hotaru and Darrius were the main heroes of an MK game? Shit would be sick as hell. I seriously hope they don't let these endings go waste.
