    I'm not sure what it is,

    I got 11 ultimate as a gift several months ago.

    I loved it when it first came out, I beat the story and it was fun and I even bashed mk X.

    Then I got Injustice 2.

    And after playing Injustice 2 and going back to MK X,

    11 just doesn't FEEL right.

    I found myself groaning doing the towers and the customization system isn't as fun as Injustice 2.

    MK X felt faster and more fluid

    Injustice 2, (despite being on a different engine) felt more fluid and more fun when pulling off combos.

    I spent an hour doing Liu Kang's HELP tower yesterday to unlock a pointless cosmetic and the other cosmetics I got from it for Spawn weren't even good.

    Then I looked over the cosmetics for Spawn and NONE of them are really good, so what am I even doing?

    I tried Rain too and got a new skin but it is LITERALLY just a recolor of his default one.

    In Injustice 2, you grind for Motherboxes and you have characters to level.

    In this game, whats the point of grinding when the cosmetic system isn't really good and there aren't levels?

    The gameplay doesn't feel as deep as MK X or Injustice 2.

    I'm forcing myself to enjoy the game for gear and cosmetics that aren't even that great for shallow gameplay.

    I really want to like this game. But every time i go back to it, im bored in 10 minutes of gameplay and I just force myself to complete a stupid tower for a random thing I dont want 80% of the time.

    I always find myself just wanting to play Injustice 2 or Mk X.

    Its not a bad game at all. But it just feels like a massive downgrade compared to X or Injustice 2.

    I know a lot of you are going to disagree with me, but thats how I feel right now.

    Maybe a recent patch took all the fun out? I'm not sure.

    It just isn't as fun as it was 3 or 4 months ago.

    Then again,

    I hate fatal blows and prefer X-rays.

    I hate the forced fatalities to unlock hearts system.

    I hate the lackluster roster

    Maybe I hate MK 11.

    The game is gorgeous

    But it's just not fun anymore for me.

    I don't know why, but the gameplay has just gotten monotonous and unappealing and it feels like a chore to play.

    Is there a reason why I don't see any skin mods for MK11? I know there are mods to let Sektor and Cyrax be playable, but I never see user made mods for costumes or accessories. Games like Street Fighter and Guilty Gear have some really cool skins, whether based on super heroes or NSFW and I think it would be really cool to see fans make cool skins that could be playable on PC. Let me know if it's possible or if i'm just blind.

    Now, I am a joker main, but I try as hard as I can not to be a toxic one, but I keep getting heavy sighs and eye rolls over me being Joker.

    Is there anyway I can still be joker but without having people be annoyed with me?

    What kind of new non-guest characters are you hoping for MK12?

    When it comes to characters, most people only want to discuss either characters from past games they want to return, or potential guest characters they want added. But the thing is pretty much every fan-favourite was new at one point or another, plus MK has an extremely unique world and lore that can be taken advantage of. So I feel this is just a valid a discussion to have.

    Personally I've always wanted to see MK's take on the classic "undead pirate captain" trope. Something similar to Cervantes from Soul Calibur, but knowing MK will be a much more gruesome and decayed aesthetic to him I think would fit in the series great.
