    I kind of shocked that Skarlet was the first NRS timeline debutant character. She started her journey from mk9 DLC.She must be on the top 3 by popularity among nrs timeline introduced characters. But till now she got nothing from storyline, even Jobbers have storyline, They did not even give her that. Even they handed her with some illogical retcon related to Shao Kahn. Only good thing she got from mk universe, may be that bad ass ladder ending of mk11.She is comparable to Erron Black, but even if Erron was punching bag still he had a storyline,but Skarlet was kind of no-entity in a whole decade. From her start to till now, she had no growth in her story, every other debutant character got something from storyline, but she did not till now, comically she is the only one who was introduced in first version of nrs timeline,that's mk9. I really dont understand NRS writers, they design some awesome characters,who gets popularity automatically, becomes fan favourite,becomes requested character to bring back in roaster. but They treat them either worse or as no-entity in storyline. Worst case,sometimes use them to uplift some other less popular characters in storyline.Just my POV, I really wish her to get rid of from the 'Shao Kahn's wanna be bride' retcon, and form a villain group with Mileena/Noob saibot/Ermac/Rain/Frost.It will help her to explore her evil blood magic power and be something in storyline.I am not unhappy of her being Jobber or being evil,being villain makes her more appealing and a lot of cool & popular mk characters are villain & jobber and a lot of less popular positive characters are so OP in story,but I want a fucking storyline for her at least.
