    So I'm a defensive player. I play a keep away style game. I main kitana (low fan, fannado, ground war) and Skarlet (heart pierce + filler).

    On 3 different occasions in kombat league today, I have had my opponent turn on their mic and just call me the worst names they can think of. Now this i don't care about. What gets me is the attitude towards defensive play in this game. Why do people have such a hatred towards zoning?

    My best guess is that it keeps people from playing the game the way they want to. But that's a skill in fighting games: the ability to adapt to what your opponent is doing. They use the argument, "It takes no brain cells to back up and throw projectiles." Well I have to pose a question to that idea: Who's truly dumber? The person forcing mistakes on an impatient player? Or the person ramming their head against a wall expecting a different result other than pain?
