    Hello fellow redditors!

    I have been a part of this amazing subreddit since the launch of Mortal Kombat 11 and learnt a lot from you guys about fighting games, specifically this game.

    I have decided to teach new comers (which I was once too) about the concepts, techniques and various tips regarding fighting games.

    For this purpose, I have just started my channel and posted first video about the concept of neutral. If you are interested, you are more than welcome to follow and subscribe to me.

    This will be a motivation factor for me to learn more about the game and spread the knowledge to more and more people.

    Long time Tekken player, looking to get into Mortal Kombat, what is everything I should know?

    I understand fighting game mechanics (how frames work etc.) but I have never played a fighting game except Tekken, so I am completely new to 2D fighting games, and have no idea about the mechanics introduced to it (jumps, button for blocking instead of holding back, overheads instead of high/mid/lows etc.). What are general tips on how to use movement and projectiles if they are a thing here?

    Also, what should I know specifically online? For example, in Tekken, ki-charging after a round is being toxic, or just general online strats and player archetypes?
