    It would obviously be a tragic understatement to say that 2020 has been an interesting year.

    Through it all and despite the struggles that all of us have been faced with this year, thousands of Mortal Kombat players and fans have connected right here to find an escape from the madness around us. At the end of the day, that should be the single driving purpose of dedicated communities such as this one; to gather like minded people together to foster relationships and engagements that make us better individuals and bring us a little happiness as well.

    As the year comes to a close, while we all attempt to celebrate the holidays in a very different method than we are accustomed to, I'd like to thank you all for being a part of this community that I genuinely care about. In so many ways, you all are incredibly passionate about Mortal Kombat and that is something we share together.

    I'd like to also thank our mods, both here and on our Discord, who volunteer their time every day to help keep things running as well as it can and who do their best to serve the 'Kommunity'. Without each and every one of them, the subreddit and the Discord channel wouldn't functional at all.

    r/MortalKombat is going into 2021 continuing to innovate community engagement on Reddit, beginning with the full subreddit integration of Fight Klub and we absolutely cannot wait for you to experience it beginning with the open beta access Christmas Day.

    Why in the world haven't we gotten more chances to get more of the Klassic Rain skins? I missed out back in November due to being hospitalized for DKA. I don't mean to rant, but boy it just hurts missing the skins by roughly an hour. Anyway happy holidays!

    I would. In fact, it's probably something people wouldn't know they wanted until they saw it. I think its the next thing NRS should do.

    Every skin has like 5 or so colors attached to it, so in the color edit mode they could be the editable slots. Pick one and then an RGB wheel pops up and now there's a million possibilities for awesome looking skins. Maybe $5-$10? I really like customizing my character so I would buy this in a heartbeat.

    Another way they could do it, since it defeats the purpose of the already different colored skins, is to have a base skin be a tower reward and only that skin can be modified. OR, have the colors themselves be rewards. Maybe there are glowing colors ( like Street Fighter vs Tekken ) etc. It would have to be free doing it this way though, but I'd grind for that.

    I definitely think it can be effective. Anyone who complains about first round fatalities just being a waste of their time are lying. It's a sign of disrespect and can put you on tilt. That's a smart tactic.
