    Do you feel like Mortal Kombat is the best in its genre? I do and I will write some points for my arguments.

    Mortal Kombat, as a franchise nails story, creativity and appeal. Mortal Kombat masterfully mixes inspiration and grittiness into its own nostalgic magic and parallel.

    Street Fighter, while is the beginning to the fighting game genre, has bland atmosphere. Street Fighter is only really interesting when it includes a Akuma subplot.

    Tekken has appealing design philosophy, but has bland lore and forgettable settings.

    King of Fighters has interesting character dynamics and unique appeal, but sealed its self to Street Fighter/SNK crossovers. SNK is pretty phenomenon tho, I think it has better design philosophy than Street Fighter. Etc.

    When I think about Mortal Kombat, it has everything, intriguing atmosphere, in depth gameplay, and spectacular design philosophy. Only thing it probably gets wrong is more or less its themes.

    I’m a big comic fan, and the Batman Who Laughs is one of my current favorite villains, does anyone have this Kombat Kard icon unlocked and if so what were the requirements? I think I’ve gotten every one you can from the shrine because I’ve sunk a few million into it and now only get konsumables.
