    Apart of me wishes they could just repeat Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger so we could get the proper matchup

    Yea yea, they don't want to repeat, but the amount of new things that have been added since then would justify the repeat. Especially in Freddy's case. There was no intro dialogues, customization, or Brutalities, and it's been two console generations since then. Freddy would have some really fun intros.

    As for Jason, they could have his Mother (Pamela Voorhees) communicate to the opponent in the intros; ancestral guidance is a theme in Mortal Kombat anyway lol. I could imagine Raiden or Nightwolf calling her out directly for inspiring Jason's vengeance. Plus it'd be great if they gave him his Jason X skin as one of his skin options, that was so heavily requested when we thought DLC would get skins during MKX's life cycle

    About the hate on Frost new design and character building

    I understand most of you hate on Frost´s new stuff like her being now a cyborg, but IMO that was the best thing they ever did to her character as a whole. When I was a kid playing MKA and MKDA she felt like a staple and bland character, a female version of Sub Zero with no charisma or different features. Okay, her background was cool but it wasnt enough to make me care about her or something...nowadays I see her as a total badass using her powers just like a cyber zero, her fighting moves are awesome, and not Subz ripoff like they used to be.
