    Whenever I think of Skarlet's personality, I'd rather state she is an attention-seeking loner.

    Being raised as an orphan, she never really felt love or warmth from anyone - not from Shao Khan either, however he kind of gave her a home and education. You can see she begs for Shao Khan's attention just by her dialogues with certain characters. And we can all tell what being a devotee of Shao Khan has to mean - she has grown gruesome and cold for just being a tool of Shao Khan. As little as we know about Skarlet, her main intentions seem to be impressing Shao Khan and experimenting with blood magic - which she gained from him.

    I would say Skarlet is heavily unstable and just focused on following people - I could see a character like Liu Kang, Jade, (older) Johnny Cage or other pure hearted characters to turn her in the good side by having her experience true friendship and love - as cliche-ish at it sound - and let her detect that her former "masters" just used and abused her.

    What is your opinion on that?

    Was there any legitimate reason why there wasn't a huge balance patch with Spawn's release..?

    Just genuinely shocked there wasn't one. This was literally the perfect time to do it, end of KP1, Season 1, etc. I'm not gonna get into details that much, but there are many issues that's still in the game that applies from day one, and at this point it's just fucking bizarre why these issues aren't ever addressed. Like variations in this game are still designed like shit, throws are too strong, anti airs still suck, there's still a lot of character changes that need to be made, KBs are still clunky and unbalanced, you all know by now.

    Spawn is a badass character and I love his gameplay and presentation but there's still so many problems in this game that need to be addressed. Its crazy to me how they didn't do like a Season 3 FighterZ type of change, something huge and changed every character and base mechanics to make that game feel so fun and fresh. This game feels so stale and repetitive, with nothing added in to make it fun. For something they say they're gonna support more than other games they've done, I'm not a big fan of the way they're going with this at all. Am I the only one who's fucking bothered by this..? Like why are they so scared to make this game feel different? Why is it so hard
