    Is this normal or am i just extremely bad at this? Don't get me wrong, i love playing mk 11 and i got used to lose but isn't there some kind of matchmaking where you play against similar weak opponents?

    I mean i am 41 married with three kids, i just can't compete with you young guns and thats ok.

    How come Shao Khan, Nightwolf, Johnny Cage, and Jade all have green "shadow" powers?

    None of them are related to my knowledge. It appears that Nightwolf gets his green glow from his Great Spirit, and should most likely be blue instead of green, as since MK3 he's had blue aura powers and that big blue beam of light, but yet also had an identical green shoulder charge just like Shao Khan, which we can assume his green glow isss... soul energy? Like Shang Tsung? As souls in the MK universe are usually shown to be green spirit balls. But Johnny Cage definitely doesn't throw "spirit balls" and he too glows green when he does his shadow kick, just as Jade does. Jade also can glow green and have projectiles go through her, while when Nightwolf glows green he reflects projectiles back. Now in MK9, Jade could enhance her glow to be purple, which seems to be a better fit alongside the purple staff she had (rip) To wrap things up: Why doesn't Nightwolf have more blue powers? It could look more like his "holy" powers. Why doesn't Jade have more purple powers? It could be unique to her Edenian lineage. Why does Shao Khan have green glow energy in the first place? People used to think he was Johnny Cage reincarnated, which clearly wasn't true, but if that was the case how come he couldn't be Nightwolf. Shao having green energy makes more sense because the soul thing, but it looks to similar to everyone elses green glow. The fact that they explained that Johnny was bred from a war tribe solidified that yes, his green glow is from THAT, that is his power, nothing related to souls. But then the question still stands, what about the other guys? Why are they so similar? Imagine Nightwolf with a blue glow for his reflector, Jade having a purple glow for her shadow kick, and even Shao Khan having a red glow cause... why not. I don't expect any actual answers, just a fun discussion and your thoughts. I lose sleep over this shit.
