NRS should consider making these areas of the Krypt into selectable stages to fight on. Goro's Lair and The Kytinn Hive are both Krypt areas that are stages in the game, these areas could be given the same treatment.

Someone told me they couldn't take Mortal Kombat seriously, not because of the graphic violence but how cheesy and over the top it is. But that's part of the charm, isn't it?!

Everybody's so serious. Only the Cage family and a few others aren't melodramatic queens who treat every second of life like their mother just died (oh, oops).

Dialogue is a high school soap opera, and Raiden is the Empress of Dramatic lines. Thank the Elder Gods for Johnny Cage.

At least two people are out for vengeance at any given time that can only be resolved by drinking their enemy's blood from their own skull.

Poses, poses, poses. Kick the air, mimic an animal, shadow box, show your enemy you mean business without touching him at all. Don't forget the HEYA's and the WATCHA's and the HUT-YA's. Theatrics for days. All that's missing is saying the name of a move every time they do it. Go Go Kombat Rangers!

I mean, if you came to a fighting game expecting realistic martial arts matches, Maya Angelou and Catcher in the Rye, you'd be disappointed. But who wouldn't expect the story and acting to be as over the top as the violence and fatalities? The original game was inspired by Enter the Dragon!
