    One of THE most frequently asked questions we see or hear is:

    "ARE THERE ANY LOCALS NEAR ME?!"

    There are a few places on the Internet that do provide some information on MK locals, however a dedicated hub to find and share locals is desperately needed.

    So here comes 'The Kombat Initiative'.

    r/TheKombatInitiative will be dedicated to sharing and spreading awareness of OFFLINE Mortal Kombat locals and events.

    As information is shared here and on the TKI Twitter page, it will be compiled into a database and sorted by location to be quickly accessed and searched to find local FGC events near you.

    Feature Request (again) — highlight startup, active and recovery frames on your character in practice

    Posted this several months ago and I'm going to keep doing it in the hopes that /u/nrstylerlansdown or somebody at NRS will pass this along:

    So in some sections of the tutorial, they color highlight your character for the startup, active and recovery frames of your character. I'd like to have this be something I could turn on in practice mode. There are certain combos with fairly precise timing I'm trying to practice and if I could visually see when the recovery frames are finished on certain moves, it would help to execute the combos. Other fighters like Tekken have this option.

    I thought about this last night while I was in practice mode with Cassie Cage. Finally decided to pick up Yaas Queen for certain matchups after maining Digital Soldier for months. The combo timings for krushing blow combos are so tight, and even though I finally got them, it took me longer than usual because you basically have to get the recovery timings to start the next part of the combo just so or it will drop. Same for B13 after DB4amp which is a 1 frame link. Being able to see the the recovery frames would really help me, and I'm sure others, get a feel for the timing on certain combos.

    WB and NRS stay silent, ignoring their fans

    Ukraine still has a community here, and after so many year of MK, suddenly we can't buy it here for no reason?

    The only way we can get the game - buy Steam key from sites like G2A, thanks to which developers just lose money, or create new PSN set in Russia, to be able to buy DLCs.

    NRS or WB, we want answers, why for 9 months we still can't buy MK11?
